Maintaining a vacuum packaging machine is actually not difficult. The key lies in daily cleaning, regular inspections, and maintenance of critical components. Let me help you outline the key points to keep your machine in optimal condition.
Daily Maintenance (After Each Use)
Cleaning and Inspection:
Cleaning: Wipe the inside and outside of the machine with a damp cloth, especially the vacuum chamber, sealing strip, and pressure strip, to remove food residue and oil.
Inspection: Check if the power cord and plug are intact, if there are any leaks in the air hose, and if the vacuum pump makes any abnormal noises.
Sealing System Inspection:
Cleaning the Sealing Strip: Clean the gaps with a soft brush to prevent residue from affecting the seal.
Inspecting the Sealing Strip: Ensure it is flat and free of deformation or scorch marks. Adjust or replace if there are any problems.
Heating Strip and Silicone Strip:
Keep Clean: Ensure no foreign matter adheres to it to avoid affecting the sealing quality.
Inspection Condition:Check for aging and cracking; replace if necessary.
Regular Maintenance (Based on Usage Frequency)
Vacuum Pump Maintenance:
Check Oil Level: Maintain the oil level at 1/2 to 3/4 of the oil window. Replace immediately if the oil turns black or contains water.
Oil Change: Run the machine for 15-30 minutes to raise the oil temperature, then drain the old oil and add new oil.
Long-Term Inactivity: Drain the lubricating oil, clean the machine, and then add new oil.
